So here’s another typical Korean coming-of-age story, in which an overweight high school kid (played by Ryu Deok-Hwan (류덕환)), feels like a woman trapped in a man’s body, and wants to earn enough for a sex change operation. The easiest way to make money? – train to win a wrestling contest, of course! And with Baek Yoon-Shik (백윤식) - the evil boss/alien in Save the Green Planet - playing his wrestling coach, how can anything go wrong?! (hey, does this sound a bit like Beautiful Boxer to anyone?).
In case you haven’t guessed it already, this is a comedy, and directorial debut for brothers Lee Hae-Yeong (이해영) and Lee Hae-Jun (이해준). Produced by Sidus FNH production, and distributed by CJ Entertainment, it is scheduled to open in theaters this Friday (August 31).
